Credit Manager - Residential and Commercial lending

Under the mentoring and guidance of one of the industry’s leading mortgage brokers, you will play an integral role in supporting and maintaining a growing lending portfolio.
Your role will include:
Preparation of loan applications for various lenders – Residential and commercial lending
Liaising with lenders regarding lending scenarios to ensure the suitability of the desired strategy and successful client outcomes
Following up and verifying client documentation to ensure accuracy and assessing serviceability
Take ownership of customer applications and aim to resolve them by proactively identifying and addressing issues, and tailoring solutions based on the customers’ needs
Consistently provide superior service to clients that is timely and accurate regarding the status of their application
Various compliance, analytical and office administration tasks as required
Contribute to the growth and performance of the business overall
Being a proactive team member who understands how small business works. This means doing the small and big things that matter every day. Proactively thinking about how we can constantly improve our processes, client service and making sure we are always compliant and aware of our licensing obligations.
Essential Skills
Australian resident
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
Must have experience in banking and or finance industries.
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter with strong work ethic, able to operate comfortably in a fast-paced organisation
Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to a fun team environment.
Proactive, detailed and organised are all essential skills
A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and an ability to learn new software applications quickly.
